Dr. Kai-Bin Huang received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from National Chiao Tung University in 2009. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Fu Jen Catholic University. Before joining academia, Dr. Huang served as a Section Manager at the Taiwan Testing and Certification Center (ETC), where he gained extensive experience in quality engineering, certification systems, and industry-oriented projects. His recent research and advisory work focus on data analytics and intelligent decision-making to improve operational efficiency and decision quality. He has led multiple renewable energy forecasting and analytics projects, including the development of intelligent energy monitoring systems and the enhancement of the Taiwan Renewable Energy Certificate (T-REC) validation mechanism. Dr. Huang’s research interests span Management Science, Service Science and Operations Management, Big Data analytics, and Artificial Intelligence applications in smart manufacturing, energy systems, and digital transformation.
